About Port of Everett

Visit the Port of Everett website.

The Port of Everett is located in Washington State on Port Gardner Bay at the mouth of the Snohomish River. The Port was originally formed by the citizens of Everett in 1918 to create economic opportunities and protect the waterfront for the community. The Port has a long history of providing marine-related services and appropriate public access to the waterfront. The Port strives to bring quality jobs, business, and tourism opportunities to its local and surrounding communities, and is committed to enhancing, restoring and preserving the overall environmental health of our waterfront.

The Port operates three lines of business:

  1. international shipping terminals;
  2. marina facilities; and
  3.  real estate development.

The Port of Everett is the third largest container port in Washington State and is the largest public marina on the West Coast with 2,300 permanent boat slips and more than half of its 3,000+ acres dedicated to public access.

Facilities at a glance

Seaport — The Port is located 25 miles north of Seattle, is a natural deep-water, self-operating seaport that supports nearly $21 billion worth of U.S. exports annually. Facilities (situated on approximately 125 acres of land) include eight shipping berths: Pier 1 (North & South); Pier 3 (North & South); Pacific Terminal Wharf; Hewitt Terminal Wharf; South Terminal Wharf; and Norton Terminal Wharf. The Port also operates a satellite barge-to-rail facility known as Mount Baker Terminal in south Everett to support movement of oversized aerospace containers.

Marina — As the largest public marina on the West Coast, the Port of Everett has 2,300 permanent boat slips for boats ranging from 20 to 143 feet (both open and covered options) and an additional 5,000 lineal feet of guest moorage. The Port offers an environmentally compliant, full-service boat yard, a fuel dock, upland boat services and gear storage, laundry and shower facilities, and a 13-lane boat launch — the largest boat launch in Washington State — with ample and well-lit parking.
