The Port of Oakland serves as Northern California’s largest container port and the United States’ largest refrigerated Export Port. Oakland houses four Container Terminals, two Class 1 Railyards, Rail served Transloading, backlands for ancillary services and immediate highway access. Oakland offers full-service and support to customers seeking a strategically located facility on the US West Coast. The Port also owns and operates Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport, Commercial Real Estate, and is a Public Utility for electricity.
