Forklift safety revolutionized: Celebrating five years of Seen Safety

April 10, 2024 — From humble beginnings to cutting-edge innovation, the forklift’s journey exemplifies our relentless pursuit of safety. Our latest blog explores this captivating evolution across the decades, showcasing advancements that transformed these industrial workhorses into high-tech guardians. Read more here.

But it’s not just a retrospective – it’s a glimpse into the future led by trailblazers like Seen Safety and our revolutionary pedestrian detection technology.

Speaking of which, we’re thrilled to celebrate our 5th anniversary! Since that pioneering 2019 sale to Boyne Aluminium in Australia (where we are still going strong) we’ve expanded to 6 countries with over 30 global sites using our system to prevent thousands of potential accidents annually. Learn more about our origins from co-founders Michael Scott and David Grove here.

Our radar-based solution creates a virtual safety zone monitoring the critical blind spot behind reversing forklifts and other vehicles. When a pedestrian is detected, operators receive real-time alerts to avoid collisions – tackling the leading cause of pedestrian injuries and deaths.

Continuous innovation drives us, stemming from our co-founders’ mission to apply cutting-edge tech to solve this persistent safety challenge.

As we celebrate 5 years, we’re grateful to customers, partners and advisors whose trust and collaboration refined our solution’s life-saving impact worldwide. Your trust and support have been instrumental in our success, and we’re honored to play a role in creating safer workplaces worldwide.

Looking ahead, the future of forklift safety is bright, and Seen Safety remains committed to being at the forefront of this revolution. Join us as we continue to push boundaries, challenge norms, and redefine what’s possible in pedestrian safety.
