Arc Gloria Training Ship sees great turnout on visit to Port of Acapulco

September 30, 2025 — The Administration of the Acapulco National Port System carried out various activities within the framework of the visit of the Training Ship “ARC Gloria” of the Navy of the Republic of Colombia during its visit in late September.

On September 23, the public was able to access guided tours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which resulted in a total of 1600 visitors where they were invited to participate in the event. offered the opportunity to learn more about this emblematic vessel.

On September 24, the opening was extended from 08:00 to 18:00 hours, allowing a greater number of visitors to enjoy the experience and the cultural atmosphere that It was experienced in the port area with a total of 3,950 visitors throughout the day.

On September 25, the last day of visits, the tours were available from 08:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., closing with great enthusiasm on the part of the citizens. Day which there were 1600 visitors giving a total of 7,150 visitors during the 3 days of its stay.

During the three days, the Armed Group of the Secretariat of the Navy of Acapulco enlivened the days with interpretations of rock, cumbia, ballads and popular music. generating a festive and convivial atmosphere. On the 23rd they appeared in the Kindergarten of the Port and on the 24th and 25th its presentation was in Section 1 of the Maritime Terminal.

Finally, on September 25 at 4:00 p.m., the training ship “ARC Gloria” set sail, marking the conclusion of its stay in this port.
