November 14, 2025 — Amidst the largest expansion in Port history that will result in record amounts of cargo being handled at the Port’s four deep-water terminals, The Port of Grays Harbor is proud to announce Nolan Wyatt has been promoted to Marine Terminal Manager.
Mr. Wyatt joined the Port in 2022 as the Marine Terminal Superintendent and Facility Security Officer. Prior to 2022, he served as a Third and then Second Mate aboard tankers on the Gulf Coast. He is a graduate of the California State University Maritime Academy, holding a BS in Marine Transportation. Mr. Wyatt also holds a US Coast Guard 2nd Mate Unlimited License and has first-hand knowledge of the Port’s water-side operations, having served as a deckhand for Brusco Tug and Barge for several years.
“Nolan has done an incredible job at the terminals since joining the Port in 2022,” shared Executive Director Leonard Barnes. “His experience and understanding of the various aspects of a working waterfront have been invaluable to the Port and I have no doubt he will continue to excel in his new position as we near operations at AGP’s new Terminal 4 loading facility.”
Mr. Wyatt will be responsible for vessel cargo operations at all of the Ports terminals including train and vessel movements, labor forces, and terminal maintenance. He is also responsible for the fiscal performance of the marine terminals division.
“I’m honored to take on this new role and continue working alongside the dedicated team at the Port, our customers and our ILWU Local 24 labor force. As we prepare for a historic increase in cargo activity, I’m excited to help lead our marine terminals into this next chapter of growth and opportunity,” shared Nolan Wyatt.
