March 31, 2026 — ASIPONA Puerto Chiapas continues to consolidate itself as a strategic node for foreign trade, by efficiently carrying out simultaneous loading and unloading operations of goods, strengthening its logistics competitiveness in the region.
On this occasion, 25,000 tons of raw sugar were loaded to California, United States, as part of export traffic, contributing to the dynamism of the agro-industrial sector and the international projection of Mexican products.
At the same time, the unloading of 2,000 tons of degummed soybean oil was carried out, corresponding to import traffic, an operation that reaffirms the port’s capacity to serve different types of cargo simultaneously and efficiently.
These actions reflect the commitment of ASIPONA Puerto Chiapas to the optimization of its logistics processes, guaranteeing safe, agile and reliable operations for the management of various lines of business, including agricultural bulk and fluids.
With this type of maneuvers, Puerto Chiapas strengthens its position as a key logistics platform in the south-southeast of Mexico, contributing to regional economic development and commercial integration with international markets.
